DACULA, Ga. - The Hebron volleyball team finished 33-5 overall and 10-0 in region play to close out the regular season.
Hebron won both games in two straight sets as the Lions defeated Stephens County 24-4, 25-14 and East Jackson 25-9, 25-20.Â
Ashley Troxell led the team in kills with 15.
Aubrey Cowart posted nine kills and
Addison Griffin had eight kills and four aces.
Ava Isaacs recorded six kills and six blocks.
Ariana Rowland had 17 digs on the night and
Brooke Thao tallied 34 assists.Â
After the games, Hebron honored their seven seniors,
Brooke Thao,
Ariana Rowland,
Malia Silva,
Imani Howell,
Harper Mazzawi,
Ava Isaacs, and
Madison Mack.Â
The Lions earn the No. 1 seed and will begin Region 8-AA Tournament play on Saturday, Oct. 12. Games will be hosted by Hebron at the Lions Arena. First serve is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.Â
The Region 8-AA Championship game will be at 1:00 p.m.Â
