ATLANTA, Ga. - The Hebron volleyball team continues to roll after winning the 2024 Gwinnett County Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Lions improve to 25-5 on the year.
HCA defeated Buford in its second meeting of the season, 22-25, 25-17, 15-10. The Lions then took down Wesleyan in three sets 23-25, 25-17, 15-9 and bested Norcross 26-24, 21-24, 15-5. The last time the Lions won the county championship was in 2019.
The Lions were led by
Imani Howell, who had 40 kills and eight blocks on the day.
Ashley Troxell posted 21 kills while
Addison Griffin had 17 kills.
Aubrey Cowart tallied 13 kills and six aces.
Malia Silva had 27 digs and Brook Thao recorded 74 assists and 27 digs.
This week, Hebron plays Franklin County and Johnson on Tuesday, Sept. 24 and North Oconee and Oconee County on Thursday, Sept. 26.
