Hebron Christian Academy

Matt Cunningham is in his thirteenth year coaching boys golf at Hebron. In his thirteen years at HCA, Cunningham has had one athlete commit to play golf at Covenant Christian College and another to University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The team finished in fourth place at the Area Championship this season. This season, Evan Rogers was named back-to-back Area Champion and State Champion. 

Evan Rogers claimed the individual Area Championship as he carded a 2-under 70. At the GHSA Private State Tournament, Rogers claimed the individual 2025 GHSA Private Golf Championship after recording a 6-under 66 to capture his second consecutive state championship. He is set to attend UT Chattanooga in the fall of 2025 to play golf. 

Along with coaching, Cunningham is the facilities manager at HCA. He is married to Kim Cunningham and the couple has one daughter, Rachel.
