Brittany Lewis is in her fourth year as the Hebron softball head coach. In the 2024 campaign, the Lions finished 29-7 overall with its second state championship appearance in program history. HCA faced Wesleyan for the state title for the second straight year, the Lions fell 2-1 in nine innings to the Wolves to named state runner-ups.
During the 2023 season, Lewis led the team to a 18-13 overall and 8-4 regional record and made it to the State Sectionals. The team made program history by advancing to the GHSA 3A Championship game after defeating Wesleyan 2-1. The Lions would finish the season as GHSA 3A State Runner-Ups for the first time in program history. The Lions were named GHSA 8-AAA Region Champions with a 27-11 record.
On top of having a tremendous 2023 season, Lewis was named GHSA 8-AAA Coach of the Year and Georgia Dugout Club Coach of the Year.
Lewis came to HCA from Strong Rock Christian School in Locust Grove, Georgia, where she served as the head coach for three seasons. Lewis established the Patriots as one of the best teams in the state of Georgia, qualifying for the state tournament each season, winning two region championships and finishing as the state runner-up in 2020.
In addition to her success at Strong Rock, Lewis is also well known in the travel softball world, coaching for the Tennessee Mojo travel organization since 2017. Her teams have played a national schedule and seen plenty of success, including most recently winning a tournament out west for their 14U age group.
Lewis and her husband Ty have three children, Brodie, Easton, and Macie-Rae.
