Kevin McGinty is in his third year coaching the Hebron varsity swim team and varsity boys and girls soccer teams. Along with coaching, McGinty is a science teacher at Hebron Christian Academy.
In his first year as head coach in swim, McGinty led the team to another state swimming championship appearance. Matthew Gasper won the 100 butterfly and was named GHSA 3A State Champion. This is the first time in program history that an athlete has won an individual event at the swimming championships. During the 2024-25 season, McGinty helped the boys team finish seventh in the state meet. Riley Richards was named GHSA Private State Champion in the 100 butterfly.
In soccer, McGinty helped coach the boys team to the GHSA 3A State Championship game against Columbus in 2024. The boys were also named back-to-back Region Champions for the first time in nine years in 2024 and 2025.
He is married to Sorelyss McGinty and the couple has three children, Kaden, Skylar, and Selah.
