COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Hebron softball team breezed past Savannah Christian 10-1 in just five innings on Thursday. With this win, the Lions advance to the Private school state finals, where they will face Prince Avenue at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. The winner will move on to the state title game on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m.

Gwendolyn Hill was a standout on the mound, striking out 10 without allowing a single walk, while only giving up two hits throughout the game. Earlier in the Elite Eight, the Lions secured a commanding 7-0 victory over Providence Christian, propelling them into the winners bracket. In the circle, Hill only allowed one hit and striking out 16. Juliahna Huber and Brittyn Sissom added two home runs to the day.
