HARTWELL, Ga. - The Hebron girls soccer team earned a No. 2 seed in the GHSA state playoffs after a 4-1 win over Hart County. The girls improve to 8-3, 4-1 while the Bulldogs fall to 6-6, 1-4.
Mikayla Trapp recorded two goals and one assist on the night. She was named Stockton Mortgage Athlete of the Week after having a hat trick against Stephens County and two goals against Monroe Area.
Micah Turner and
Caleigh Adams added one goal each to seal the victory for the Lions. Turner leads the team in goals with thirteen on the season followed by Trapp with nine.
Defensively,
Chloe Lewis tallied 80 minutes in the net and had four saves. Lewis has ten saves on the year.
The Lions host Dacula for the regular season finale at Burlingame Field on Friday, April 12. The girls play at 5:00 p.m.
