Girls Soccer Concludes State Tournament Run at Wesleyan

PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. - The No. 2 seed Lions conclude the 2024 season after falling to No. 1 seed Wesleyan 7-0 on Tuesday evening. HCA finishes the season with a 10-4 overall and 4-1 region record. Wesleyan improves to 17-1-1 on the year. This is the second consecutive year the Lions have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen round. 

The Liosn had three seniors, Mikayla Trapp, Belen Bombaloff, and Arianna Melton, who have helped get the girls soccer program to what it is today. 

Goalkeeper Ava Isaacs recorded 80 minutes in the net and had ten saves on the night. Isaacs finished the season with five shutouts and 72 saves on the year. Micah Turner led the team in goals with 17 followed by senior Mikayla Trapp with 12. 

Wesleyan improves to 17-1-1 on the year and advance to the Elite Eight for the second straight year. The Wolves were named 2024 Region Champions and finished in the Final Four last season.
