HOSCHTON, Ga. - The Hebron competition cheer team took home first place with 67 points at the Mill Creek Classic on Saturday afternoon. This is the first competition of the 2024 season for the HCA cheer squad.

"We have been putting in the work since June this season," said head coach Paige Underwood. "I'm so proud of how well these girls work together, encourage each other, and show up to get the work done. I'm truly proud of each and every one of them. They hit their routine perfectly, and that's all I could have asked for them to do for a first competition. We knew the odds were stacked against us with our number this year, but they came out swinging and landed first place!"

The Lions are under the direction of third year head coach, Paige Underwood.

The team will compete in its second competition of the season at Buford on Saturday, Sept. 28.
