Athens, Ga. – The Hebron Christian Academy girls golf team wrapped up its season on Monday at the GHSA 4-AAA Area Tournament, finishing eighth in the field of 12 teams at the UGA Golf Course.

Freshman Kelly Dyson led HCA with a 105, while Emilee Fleming finished second on the team with a 112. Jenna Slocum rounded out the team scoring with a 118. Kyliee Dunn recorded a 131 and Jacyee Thornhill tallied a 136.

Tournament host Oconee County and White County finished tied for first and advanced to the GHSA State Tournament with team scores of 277, while Pickens County also advanced to state with a score of 278.

HCA recorded a team total of 335, finishing ahead of Gilmer County (339), Stephens County (339), Lumpkin County (341) and West Hall (358).
