Watkinsville, Ga. – The Hebron Christian Academy girls golf team wrapped up its season on Monday, finishing fourth overall at the GHSA Area-1 Private Tournament hosted by Jennings Mill Country Club.
Despite the fourth-place finish, senior Kelly Dyson extended her season by qualifying as an individual. She will compete at the GHSA Private Girls State Golf Championship on May 18-19 at Nob North Golf Club in Cohutta, Georgia. Dyson qualified by posting the lowest score among players on non-advancing teams, finishing seventh overall with a score of 102.
Juniors Emily Grogan and Annastyn Waters, along with freshman Molly Macrina, also capped their 2026 seasons at the Area Tournament. Athens Academy took home top honors with a team score of 154, while Prince Avenue (181) finished second and St. Vincent Academy (186) placed third to advance to the GHSA State Championship.
