Clarkesville, Ga. – The Hebron Christian Academy girls golf team wrapped up its season on Monday, finishing eighth overall at the GHSA 4-AAA Area Tournament hosted by Apple Mountain Golf Club.

HCA recorded a team total of 297, finishing ahead of Pickens County (298), West Hall (307), Stephens County (308), Monroe Area (386) and Gilmer County (438).

Sophomore Kelly Dyson led the way for HCA, finishing 19th overall and shooting a 24-over 96. Senior Emilee Fleming wrapped up her high school career with a 100 to finish 24th overall, while Jenna Slocum's 101 was good for 27th place to round out the team scoring. Annastyn Waters recorded a 127 and Kyliee Dunn tallied a 129.

White County (252) won the event on its home course, while Oconee County finished second (259) and Dawson came in third (261), all advancing to the GHSA State Championship.
