CARROLLTON, Ga. - The Hebron cross country teams capped off their season with impressive performances at the GHSA State Meet on Friday morning in Carrollton, Georgia. The boys team finished 5th overall, while the girls placed 8th,
The boys team put together an outstanding showing, highlighted by podium finishes from Javi Silva and
Anderson Mathias. Silva crossed the finish line in 6th place with a time of 16:55.18, To round out the top five boys,
Marco Perez came in 38th,
Matthew Kirk placed 53rd, and Alex Ferguson finished 68th.
Eloise Jones was the top finisher for the girls after she placed 18th in 21:45.66.
Lindsay Buchanan finished 33rd in 22:40.73. Taylor Prezanno placing 54th in 23:43.53,
Amber Smith placed 72nd in 24:20.44 and
Morgan Wall finished 97th in 25:13.20.
This season, the boys were Area A-AAA Champions while the girls were Area A-AAA Runner-Up.
