CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - The Hebron cross country team competed well at the Wingfoot XC Classic on Saturday morning. The boys finished fourth out of 38 teams while the girls placed eighth out of 34 teams.
On the girls side,
Eloise Jones finished sixth with a time of 20:20. Other top finishers for the girls were:
Lindsay Buchanan,
Amber Smith, Taylor Prezanno, and
Morgan Wall.
On the boys side,
Anderson Mathias crossed the line in fourth with a medal and a time of 16:42. Javi Silva placed eighth in 16:54. Other top finishers for the boys were:
Matthew Kirk,
Marco Perez, and Alex Ferguson.
The Lions compete at the Darlington XC Festival in Rome, Ga. on Saturday, Sept. 28. The start time for boys is 8:00 a.m. and the girls are at 8:30 a.m.
