WHITESBURG, Ga. - Anderson Mathias broke the Hebron 5K record at the Bob Blastow Early Bird Meet with a time of 15:49.92. The boys finished fourth place while the girls came in tenth. 

Rounding out the top five for the boys were: Javi Silva, Matthew Kirk, Sean McCorkly, and Miles Wall. On the girls side, Eloise Jones led the team as she finished 22nd in 20:19.42. 

The Lions have an off week before competing at the Milton XC Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7th.
