Hebron Girls Basketball Undefeated through Five Games

DACULA, Ga. - Hebron girls basketball remains undefeated, with a 5-0 record, after two wins during the Thanksgiving break. 

Hebron's first contest of the holiday week was a 76-45 victory over South Forsyth High School. The Lions were led by three of their seniors, Nariah Nelson, Kobi Barnes and Alanna Beckham, all who finished in double figures. 

Nelson led the team with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Barnes scored 22, with seven rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. Beckham added 11 points, while totaling 10 assists, five rebounds, and two steals. 

Hebron got much of the same results against Trinity Christian, earning a 75-32 victory with the same trio leading the way. Nelson once again led the Lions in points (18), while adding five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and a block. Barnes also had 18 points, with nine rebounds, one assist, and one block. Beckham wasn't far behind with 16 points, while adding nine assists, five rebounds, and three steals. 

Hebron will be back in action this Saturday, Dec. 6, when the Lions take on Seckinger on the road. Tip-off is set for 3:30 p.m.
