DACULA, Ga. - Brooke Thao earned the top individual award on the All-Gwinnett County Volleyball team selected by the county's coaches. The senior wsa voted Class AAAAA-A Player of the Year for the 2024 season. The Hebron volleyball team earned the Class AAAAA-A Team of the Year. Head volleyball coach Taylor Davis was selected as Class AAAAA-A Coach of the Year. 

The Shorter commit helped the Lions capture its third state championship in program history. Along with her multiple accolades, she was named Class AAAAA-A All-County First Team. She is joined by Imani Howell and Malia Silva on the First Team All-County. Harper Mazzawi was selected as Second Team All-County.

Thao was a Gwinnett Daily Post Super-Six honoree for two consecutive years. Along with All-County honors, Thao was also awarded Area 8AA Player of the Year.
