Hebron Boys Basketball Splits Games at Dacula Invitational

DACULA, Ga. - The Hebron boys basketball team had a mixed result at the Dacula Invitational over the weekend, defeating Mount Pisgah 74-31 before falling to Brookwood 68-53. The Lions now stand at 1-5 on the 2024-25 season.

In the opening game against Mount Pisgah, the Lions dominated from start to finish. Devon McField led Hebron with 17 points and five rebounds. Josiah Deagle contributed 14 points and four rebounds, while Brandyn Manning added 13 points and one rebound to help secure the lopsided victory.

The second game, a tough matchup against Brookwood, was a hard-fought battle, but the Lions ultimately came up short. McField continued his strong play, posting 24 points and seven rebounds. Lukas Romine also had a solid performance with 12 points and six rebounds, while Manning chipped in seven points and five rebounds

Hebron will look to bounce back when they take on Rome on Saturday, Nov. 30. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m. as the Lions aim to build momentum heading into the remainder of their season.
