DACULA, Ga. - Men's basketball is sporting a 5–2 record in the early stages of the 2025–26 season, going 2–1 over the Thanksgiving break.
In those three games, the Lions fell 59–56 in a tight battle with Mount Vernon on Saturday, Nov. 22, defeated Providence Christian Academy 60–47 on Monday, Nov. 24, and topped South Gwinnett on Friday, Nov. 28. Hebron will next play Bethlehem Christian Academy at home in Lions Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Against Providence, the Lions shot 43 percent from the field, with freshman Ashton Burt leading in scoring with 20 points. Senior Devon McField added 14 points, along with five assists and nine rebounds. Also in double figures was Landon Ezzell, who had 10.
In Hebron's 16-point win over South Gwinnett, the Lions knocked down eight three-pointers, seven coming from McField and sophomore Brandyn Manning. McField led the team with 23 points, while Manning had 19. Burt added eight points, while Isaiah Box had six.
