DACULA, Ga.- Aubrey Beckham was named 2024 Co-Region 8-AAA Player of the Year for her second consecutive year. The junior hit 1000 career points and 400 career assists on the season. Last season, she led the Lions to their second state championship in program history. The Lions have a 23-2, 9-0 record and were named 2024 regular season champions. 

The Lions had four All-Region First Team honorees including Amiya Porter, Mia James, JaKerra Butler, and Danielle Osho. Aniya Moodie, Alanna Beckham, Nickyia Daniel, and Camryn Register earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors. 

Up Next: No. 1 seed HCA begins region play on Wednesday, Feb. 14 with a game against No. 4 seed Franklin County. Tip-off is set 6:30 p.m. at Stephens County.
