DACULA, Ga.- The No. 1 Region 8AAA Hebron girls basketball dominated the first round of the GHSA State Tournament with a victory 89-12 over No. 4 Region 5AAA Cedar Grove on Wednesday night. The 2023 reigning state champions improve to 26-2 on the year.
The Lions put up 57 points to the Saints six points in the first half.
Camryn Register led the Lions with 15 points and three steals on the year.
JaKerra Butler and
Mia James tallied 14 points each.
Danielle Osho added 12 points and had seven rebounds.
Up Next: Hebron hosts No. 4 Region 7AAA Pickens on Friday, Feb. 23 for the next round of the GHSA state tournament. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
