DACULA, Ga.- The Hebron boys basketball team advances to the sweet sixteen after a thrilling home victory over Cedar Grove 55-49 on Wednesday night. The boys improve to 24-3 on the year after being named 2024 region runner-up.
Hebron maintained the lead the whole game, but not without a fight from the Saints. The Lions went into halftime only up by nine points. In dominant fashion,
Blake Wilson led the team with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
MaTaj Glover and
Jelani Smith-Mason were the other players who had double digits. Glover recorded 17 points, four assists, and three rebounds and Smith-Mason tallied 11 points.
Up Next: The Lions travel to play Gilmer on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. for the second round of the GHSA Tournament.
