LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Hebron track & field team had two days of competition at the 2024 Gwinnett County Championships on Saturday, March 23 and Monday, March 25. Among the best competition in the state, the boys finished 18th with 11 points while the girls came in 14th place with 17 points.
Overall, Archer won the meet on the girls side with 80 points and Mill Creek finished first on the boys side with 95 points.Â
The Hebron boys 4x800 relay set a new school record in 8:28.70 on Saturday with runners
Joshua Graves,
Matthew Kirk,
Marco Perez, and
Pedro Silva.
Lily Macrina finished third and set a new school record time of 57.80 in the 400 meter.
Adrian Hollingshed crossed the line with a school record time in 11.04.
Other top finishers for the Lions included
Layla Melton, who finished sixth in the 800 meter with 2:27.30.
Jayden Watts placed eighth in the 100 meter as she crossed the line in 12.66.Â
