DACULA, Ga. - The Hebron lacrosse team ended the regular season with a win over Calvary Day 14-5 on Friday afternoon. The Lions are 10-7, 2-2 entering postseason play next week. The Cavaliers are 6-9, 2-2 on the year.
Before the game, Hebron honored its five seniors including players
Tripp Owens and
Austin Sprout and managers Aidan Barton, Dylan Donohue, and Faith Philips.Â
The Lions took control from the start with
Stroud Morris winning 10 faceoffs on the night.
Reid Oliver and
Austin Scott led the team with four goals each.
Max Steve and
Jackson Wolfe contributed two goals each.
Landon Lofters and
Tanner Bowen had one goal each to round out the final two goals. Defensively,
Patrick Crist tallied ten saves to keep the Cavs out of the net.
HCA play Whitewater High School for the first round of playoffs on Wednesday, April 24. Game time starts at 7:45 p.m.
