DACULA, Ga. - Boys lacrosse has been rolling as of late, winning six-straight games dating back to March 6.
The Lions (9-2) picked up two huge wins last week, a 19-3 non-region win over Peachtree Ridge on Monday, March 16 and a 15-4 win over region rival Cherokee Bluff on Thursday, March 19. Hebron most recently took down Jackson County 20-0 on Tuesday, March 24, a victory which saw the Lion defense allow zero shots.
In the 16-goal home victory over Peachtree Ridge, the Lions were led by senior
Jackson Wolfe, who scored five goals and notched four assists. Fellow senior
Pierson Myers and Luke Sorrels each added four goals, Sorrels had three assists, while Myers had one.
Aiden Hoskins also had three goals in the win, and picked up seven ground balls and five face-off wins.
Dalton Harris contributed with two assists and five ground balls,
Miles Hill had four, while Adoniram Dowden scored the first goal of his career.
Against rival Cherokee Bluff, Hebron dominated on the offensive attack, led by Myers who had six goals and an assist.
Max Steve had four goals two his name, while picking up two assists, five ground balls and nine face-off wins.
Sorrels added two goals, while
Jackson Wolfe had one goal with three assists.
On defense,
Tanner Bowen had five ground balls, while
Colson Bentley had three.
Miller Hatfield had 12 saves in goal.
Against the Panthers of Jackson County, Sorrels and Wolfe led the team with four goals each, Myers had three, while Cam Brown and
James Stagl each had two.
Gino Barahona also earned the first goal of his career.
Connor Colluro led the team with 13 face-off victories.
Hebron will next face Seckinger High School this Friday, March 27 at home. Prior to the game, Hebron will honor its decorated senior class.
