DACULA, Ga. – Hebron Christian Academy is excited to announce the addition of David Stanton as the new head coach for the boys' lacrosse program.

Stanton is a dynamic leader with a passion for mentoring young athletes and fostering excellence both on and off the field. He brings 26 years of coaching experience, including 13 years in lacrosse. David is currently a Partner and Director for Legacy Lacrosse Georgia, where he has made a significant impact on the lives of countless young players.

"We are excited to welcome Coach Stanton to HCA," said Director of Athletics Taylor Davis. "His extensive coaching experience, leadership qualities, and passion for mentoring young men align perfectly with our commitment to developing student-athletes who excel in both character and competition."

In addition to his coaching expertise, David serves as the Executive Director of the P4 Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families of children battling cancer. Under his leadership, the foundation has grown in its reach and influence, providing vital resources and compassion to families in need.

"I am incredibly honored and excited to join the Hebron Christian Academy family as the Lacrosse Head Coach, said Stanton. "I look forward to building a culture centered on faith, discipline, and excellence both on and off the field. To be able to lead young men in a Christ-centered environment while helping them grow as athletes, teammates, and leaders is a blessing I don't take lightly."

David's professional career spans over 25 years in the hospitality industry, where he managed hotels for industry leaders like Starwood and Hyatt. He also served as General Manager of Signature Park Sports, overseeing youth athletic programming and facility operations. His multifaceted experience positions him as an exceptional leader for HCA's lacrosse program.

He and his wife, Melissa, have been married for 35 years and have four sons and two daughters-in-law. They have called the Hamilton Mill community home for the past 22 years. Their youngest son is set to attend the University of Georgia this fall.

The HCA boys lacrosse program will enter its fourth season in 2025-26, having achieved early success with a 36-20 record and two GHSA State Playoff victories.
