"I'm super proud of the boys, they have been working really hard and cleaned up some stuff from last week. But, it's just game one, we just got to continue to get better," commented head coach Jonathan Gess after the victory.

After the game, Devon Caldwell received The Robbie Hunter Most Valuable Player Award after scoring three touchdowns. Thomas Stallworth was named Corky Kell Offensive Player of the Game and Nicholas Wade earned Defensive Player of the Game.
