Hebron Football Represented Well in All-County, All-State Teams

DACULA, Ga. - The Hebron Christian Academy football team finished the 2025 season with another state championship victory, defeating Calvary Day School 28-21 in Atlanta on Wednesday, Dec. 17. 

That title-winning effort, and the effort all season was recently put on a county and state-wide stage as the Lions represented Hebron well in the All-County and All-State lists. 

Overall 10 were named to the Gwinnett Daily Post's All-County list, nine players joined by head coach Kenny Dallas, who was named as Co-Coach of the Year with Buford's Bryant Appling. At the state level, Dallas was named the Atlanta Journal Constitution's 3A-A Private Coach of the Year, while nine players were recognized across multiple publications. 

Among the 10 All-County Selections, senior running back Devon Caldwell led the way, being named the Offensive Player of the Year for 2025. 

Caldwell, a Mercer signee, rushed for 2,372 yards and 37 touchdowns, caught 14 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown and had two return scores. Caldwell was also recognized by four different publications as an all-state player, those being the Touchdown Club of Atlanta (First-Team), the AJC (First-Team), Georgia Public Broadcasting and Recruit Georgia. 

Fellow senior Max Steve, defensive back committed to Davidson College, also had a slew of All-State recognitions. While making GDP First-Team All-County (defense), he was also named to the AJC and Recruit Georgia All-State lists and the GPB's All-Finals Team. Steve was also named the AJC 3A-A Private Defensive Player of the Year and Recruit Georgia 3A-A Private Player of the Year. 

Other All-State selections are listed as follows: 

ATH Jarvis Mathurin, Sr. (AJC First-Team, GPB, Recruit Ga.)

Caught 57 passes for 1,096 yards, 13 touchdowns, rushed 28 times for 345 yards, 4 touchdowns, 466 return yards, 3 touchdowns; 3 interceptions, 5 pass breakups on defense. 

OL Fletcher Turk, Sr. (AJC First-Team, GPB All-Finals, Recruit Ga.)

Totaled 76 pancake blocks. 

OL Elijah Morrison, Jr. (AJC Hon. Mention, Recruit Ga. Hon. Mention)

Totaled a team-high 80 pancake blocks.

DL Fred Moses Jr. (AJC First-Team, Recruit Ga.)

Totaled 58 tackles (33 solo), 12 tackles for a loss (TFL), eight sacks, 21 hurries and one fumble recovery. 

LB Albert Wilham (AJC First-Team, Recruit Ga. Hon. Mention)

Totaled 100 tackles (63 solo), four TFL's, 0.5 sacks, and one hurry. 

DB Jai'lil Goley (Recruit Ga.)

Totaled 31 tackles, six interceptions and 14 pass breakups. 

OL Morgan Jordan Jr. (Recruit Ga.)

Totaled 60 pancake blocks. 

Other All-County selections were Turk (second-team offense), Jordan (third-team offense), Morrison (third-team offense), Moses (third-team defense), Wilham (third-team defense) and junior kicker Lucas Ardeu (third-team offense).
