DACULA, Ga. - Both Hebron basketball teams stay undefeated in region play at 5-0 after defeating East Jackson last night. The girls won 79-18 while the boys were victorious 63-54.
In the girls game, senior
Mia James hit her 1000th point after she scored 18 points. James also posted seven assists and six steals.
Danielle Osho tallied 19 points and seven rebounds.
Alanna Beckham recorded 13 points and five rebounds.
JaKerra Butler had nine points and four steals. The team moves to 19-1 overall.
The boys team improves to 10-9 overall and 5-0 in region play after Friday's win.
Devon McField led the team in points with 17. McField also had five rebounds and two steals.
Isaiah Box was huge in the paint with 15 points and four rebounds.
Carrington Coombs posted 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists to help the Lions to victory.Â
Hebron will host Franklin County on Monday, Jan. 27th to continue region competition. The girls play at 6 p.m. while the boys tip-off at 7:30 p.m. at Lions Arena.Â
