DACULA, Ga. - The Hebron boys basketball team continued its dominant run in region competition with a hard-fought 70-64 victory over Franklin County on Monday night. The win improves the Lions overall record to 11-9, while they remain perfect in region play at 6-0.
Lukas Romine led the charge for HCA, finishing with a team-high 17 points. Devon McField contributed 15 points and dished out four assists, playing a key role in the team's offensive flow. Isaiah Box added eight points and three assists, helping keep the Lions in control throughout the contest.
"Franklin County is a well-coached team," commented head coach Derrick Mason. "They played exceptionally well last night. We simply made a few more plays than they did."
With the victory, Hebron is now looking ahead to it next challenge, as the team welcomes Hart County to town for a crucial region matchup on Tuesday, January 28th, at 7:30 p.m.
