NORCROSS, Ga. - Girls basketball opened the season with a win last Tuesday, Nov. 11 after defeating Greater Atlanta Christian 62-36 on the road. 

Senior guard Alanna Beckham led the team with 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals in the win. Fellow senior Nariah Nelson had nine points, eight rebounds and four assists, while juniors Michel Robbins and Mia Huckaby also had nine points each. 

The Lions will play their first game at home tomorrow, Nov. 18, when they will host Morrow High School (2-1) at Lions Arena. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
