SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - The Hebron boys basketball team's season came to an end on Wednesday night as the team fell to Holy Innocents, 94-38. The loss wraps up a 17-12 season for the Lions, while the Bears (25-4) advances to the Final Four, where the team will face Mount Paran.
Holy Innocents seized control early, outscoring Hebron 26-6 in the first quarter, and continued their dominance throughout the game. By halftime, the Bears had built an overwhelming 54-16 lead, effectively putting the game out of reach. Despite the loss, the Lions battled through the tough matchup. Lukas Romine led the team with 10 points and six rebounds, while Josiah Deagle contributed six points and three rebounds. Trenton Taylor also added six points and two rebounds.
This season, the Hebron boys basketball team hit a major milestone by securing its first-ever Region 8-AA Championship, and making its second consecutive appearance in the Elite Eight, marking another historic achievement for the program.
