DACULA, Ga.- The varsity boys basketball team won a thrilling victory over Kings Ridge 67-66 on Friday night with MaTaj Glover hitting the game-winning shot to keep the Lions undefeated.
With 6.5 seconds left in regulation and down 66-64, the Lions had possession of the ball near the Lions sideline. MaTaj Glover passed the ball to Blake Wilson, Wilson found Glover in the corner. Glover hit the game-winning three-pointer to defeat the Tigers. Glover led the teams with 22 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Wilson tallied 20 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Devon McField had 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists.Â
The Lions improve to 12-0 while the Tigers fall to 10-4 on the season. Both teams had great possessions, but the Lions prevailed in the end.Â
