DACULA, Ga. -Â The Hebron flag football team wrapped up its regular season with two impressive victories on senior night. The Lions triumphed 7-0 over Athens Academy and 19-6 over Marist, finishing the season with a 13-3 record. These wins set the stage for the GHSA State Tournament, which will begin the week after Thanksgiving.
In the first game against Athens Academy,
Isabella Brown had a strong performance, completing 16 of 24 passes, including a touchdown pass to
Ava Isaacs, which gave the Lions a 7-0 lead. Brown also led the team in rushing with 20 yards.
KK Prentice was the top receiver with 47 yards. On defense,
Lily Macrina recorded five pulls, while
Brooke Thao followed with three.
The second game against Marist saw Brown complete 9 of 17 passes. The Lion offense gained 77 yards receiving and 47 yards rushing. Defensively,
Brooke Thao led the team with five pulls, while
Sophia Rhodes and
Clara Rothwell each tallied three pulls.
Between games, the Lions honors its 12 seniors including
Katie Downs,
Ellie Glouton,
Rylie Hawkins,
Ava Isaacs,
Mia James,
Chloe Lewis,
Camryn Long,
Lily Macrina,
Addison McCullough,
Hayley Redrick, and
