TOCCOA, Ga.- The No. 1 seed Hebron girls basketball team claimed its second consecutive and fourth regional championship in the past five years under head coach Jan Azar. The girls took home the victory after a 80-21 win over No. 2 seed Oconee County on Friday night
The Lions were dominant the whole game and went into halftime with a 48-7 lead over the Warriors.
JaKerra Butler led the team with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Danielle Osho put up 17 points and eight rebounds and Region Player of the Year,
Aubrey Beckham, tallying 15 points, 11 assists, and four steals. The girls are on a 16 game win-streak and have a 25-2 record on the year.
Up Next: Hebron hosts the first round of the GHSA State Playoffs on Wednesday, Feb. 21 against Cedar Grove. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
