DACULA, Ga.- It was another dominant night for the Hebron girls basketball team after the Lions won 89-13 over Monroe Area. The Lions improve to 21-2, 8-0 while the Purple Hurricanes fall to 3-19, 0-8.
The Lions dominated from the jump with senior
Amiya Porter scoring her 1000th career point as she had 21 points on the night. She is the tenth player in the program history to have reached this milestone. Porter joins
Aubrey Beckham and
JaKerra Butler, who hit this career mark earlier this season.
Danielle Ocho put up 11 points on the night with
Nickyia Daniel and
Aniya Moodie recording nine points a piece. After the game, HCA honored their seniors Porter, Daniel, Moodie, and manager Aiden Barten for their contributions to the Hebron girls basketball program.
Up Next: The Lions venture to Carnesville to face Franklin County on Tuesday, Feb. 6 for the second time this season. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
