DACULA, Ga. - The Hebron soccer teams picked up two Region 8-AAA wins over Monroe Area on Tuesday night at Burlingame Field. The girls won 2-0 while the boys swept the Purple Hurricanes 7-0.
On the girls side, senior
Mikayla Trapp scored both goals to lift the Lions to victory.
Ava Isaacs had three saves to keep the Purple Hurricanes out of the net. The Lions move to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in region competition. Monroe Area falls to 8-5 overall and 2-3 in region play.
The Hebron boys soccer team came in as the No. 5 team in Class AAA coaches poll. The Lions put up five goals in the first half and notched two more in the second half. Hebron moves to 9-1-1 and 3-0 in region.
Samuel Carlson led the team with three goals on the night.

Luke Meek, and
Benji Gunji also contributed with each player tallying one goal. The Purple Hurricanes move to 7-5-1 and 2-3 in region play.
HCA travels to Stephens County for a double header on Thursday, March 28. Girls play at 5:00 p.m. followed by the boys at 7:00 p.m.
