DACULA, Ga. - The Hebron girls soccer team (3-0) continued its hot start to the season as the team picked up a 3-1 win over Athens Academy (1-2) on a chilly Thursday evening.
Kaitlyn Green had a hat trick and goalkeeper
Ava Isaacs made some vital saves in the second half to help secure the win. Three Lions added assists including
Micah Turner,
April Mojica and Lilli Cregger.
On the boys side, Hebron (3-0) just could not get by Athens Academy (0-2) Goalkeeper in the first half. The Lions went into halftime with a 1-0 lead into halftime. The second half brought more goals for the Lions as
Aiden Kanclerz had a hatrick, while his brother Reese Kanclerz posted two goals along with
Samuel Carlson added a pair of goals.
The boys travel to Florence, Ala. for the Florence Soccer Tournament on Feb. 28th. The next game for the girls will be on March 4th at Mount Pisgah.
