DACULA, Ga. – The Hebron Christian Academy boys golf team turned in a strong performance Monday, finishing 4th out of 20 teams at the Mill Creek Classic held at Hamilton Mill Country Club.

Competing against a deep and competitive field, the Lions posted a team score of 327 (+39), placing them behind tournament champion Christian Heritage (301), Roswell (313), and Perry (317). Hebron finished four strokes ahead of host Mill Creek, five strokes clear of North Hall, and bested Wesleyan by eight shots.

Junior Brody Taylor and freshman Braylen Childress led the Lions with rounds of 78 (+6), tying for 14th individually. Senior Aspen Taylor followed with an 81 (+9), which was good for a top-25 finish.

Rounding out the scoring lineup, senior Christian Foray and sophomore Wade Balkcom each carded rounds of 90 (+18).

Hebron is back in action this Thursday, traveling to RiverPines Golf Club to take on Wesleyan School at 3:30 p.m.
