Watkinsville, Ga. – The Hebron Christian Academy boys golf team wrapped up its season on Monday, finishing sixth overall at the GHSA Area-1 Private Tournament hosted by Jennings Mill Country Club.
Savannah Country Day captured the Area Championship with a team total of 306, while Aquinas (309) and Prince Avenue (316) finished second and third, respectively, to punch their tickets to the GHSA Private Boys State Golf Championship.
Freshman Braylen Childress led the Lions with a 10-over 82 to finish 15th overall, while junior Brody Taylor followed with a 14-over 86, good for 25th place.
Wade Balkcom and Christian Foray both carded rounds of 88, while Aspen Taylor (89) and Ethan Kim (97) rounded out the team.
